| My life at Otterbein College = A Blur. . .
I realized that I have not even signed in to xanga in over 3 months, let alone had time to even think of it! Amazing. Being a musical theatre major is tough work, but I am loving my time here at Otterbein. Most of my professors are great. . . There are a few classes that I could do without (*gag* music theory *gag*) right now, but it's no biggie. My BFA acting class is by far my favorite. Our professor, Ed Vaughan, is a genious -- I have learned so much from him!
Favorite Ed quotes:
"Let's all pause and smell her own death..."
"No, Drew, I don't want to know about your sperm."
"It's not cancer research, it's a damn audition... and you're damn actors!"
"Now what do I mean by that?"
I love that man. . .
I also love my voice teacher: Lori Kay Harvey. . . She should be on broadway right now, not teaching at Otterbein. But, I'm glad she does, because she's fabulous!
So, I am coming home in exactly two weeks, tomorrow! I am going to be extremely busy until then, with finals all next week! Hooray. . .
It will be so strange going back home. . .
I don't know my way around a dream, But I know I want you in it. I just don't know how to begin it I don't know my way around a dream.
--------
This is wanting something. This is reaching for it. This is wishing that a moment would arive... This is taking chances. This is almost touching What the beauty is.

| | Currently Watching Equilibrium By Christian Bale, Sean Bean, Taye Diggs, Emily Watson, David Barrash, Francesco Cabras, Maria Pia Calzone, Danny Lee Clark, William Fichtner, Florian Fitz, Matthew Harbour, Christian Kahrmann, John Keogh, Angus Macfadyen, Dirk Martens, Sean Pertwee, Dominic Purcell, Emily Siewert, Mike Smith see related | I swear, upon my metallic orange socks: Xanga is Dead.
*phew* I said it. For the first time in my life, I said the dreaded phrase. I honestly never thought I would, but alas, there it is!
However, I am still posting. I will breath life back into that which has been smitten by the lords of "Myspace" and "Facebook". . . By writing. . . about myself.
School is almost hear! I can hardly believe it! I am so excited, yet very apprehensive and nervous at the same time! I'm taking 9 classes/18 credits (a couple of them were switched to 0 credit, so i don't have to pay more moola!) the first trimester, 17 credits the next and (i think?) 17 in the spring. . . CRAZY! And I'm in the honors program. . . I feel like so a nerdy over-acheiver! It's great. In aiding myself to feel more prepared for school: I went shopping w/ Mum. We accomplished about 3/4 of what we set out to do... raid WalMart: check. raid Target: double check. Pillage the shelves of Sally Hanson's Beauty supply (Ok, so that's an overstatement). Scan through Bed, Bath and Beyond to make sure we have everything: triple check. Drop in to Curcuit City to buy "Equillibrium" (aka: one of the best action films EVER!). . . Fly through (literally) Jimmy John's @ 10:00 to grab a sub -- LOVE that place. And off to home, sweet, home we go. . .
I does slightly depress me that I had to spend so much money on college supplies, since I currently do not have a job... damn the fact that I live so far from Grand Rapids, and all of the clothing stores I'd love to work at. :-/ Oh well, maybe I'll find something in Westerville - HA! If I even have time. We'll see about that.
Okay -- well I hope those of you who read this are doing well -- Please know I love you, and miss you, and think about all of you often. Oh, if anyone feels like writing me when I get to school, my snail mail (IIIIIIIIIIII'm the snail with the mail, I'll deliver without fail! -- sorry, more musical theatre. . . I just can't help it!) address is:
One Otterbein College SMC# 11113 Westerville, Ohio
Love,

| Holla from Breckenridge, Colorado!!! I have so much to write about, but right now I have to go up and watch Light in the Piazza w/ the girls!! Hee! If you don't know why I'm in Breckenridge; I'm here for a Musical theatre Intensive called: American Singer Seminars. We had our first concert(s) yesterday afternoon and night, where all of us incredible girls (there are 11 female participants -- one word: AMAZING) and the faculty (Sal Viviano, Doug Webster & Yvonne Redman) performed. I sang "In My Life" from Les Miz. . . *smile*
*sigh* Wow. There is so much to say, but again, the "Piazza" beckons! Oh! We went White Water Rafting today (on a level 4 - advanced - river) !!! SO FUN! Anyway, I'm having a fantastic time here... I will write more when I get another chance!
LOVE!

So, I just realized that my open house is, indeed, tomorrow --
BAH! For those who I somehow did not send an invite to; I
apologize. . . If you want to stop by, you are most welcome to.
Zee party is from 3-7 (and if you need my address to mapquest it,
please e-mail me! )
Another recent realization: I am leaving for
Colorado in 5 DAYS!!!! What-WHAT? How excited, and anxious, and
stressed out am I? VERY! Now, I would say, send me all of
your addresses so I can send you postcards -- but I've never been very
good at that. Who knows, there's a first time for everything --
feel free to e-mail your address so I can send a postcard your way,
from Breckenridge, CO! (or not... hehe) We have four concerts
during the intensive, so I don't know how much free-time I will
have! But, I'll be there for about 18 days!!! YAY, MUSICAL
THEATRE! Whoa -- I'm a bit too excited. . .
Hugs and kisses and all the best of summer wishes! (if I don't see you/write you before I leave!)
